Background
The beginning of my spirit guide’s life was approximately seven thousand years BC. At that time, he set out on a journey to the Black Land now known as Egypt. There he found his second father named Aser. Later, it was in his honor, as well as in honor of my guide’s named brother, Osiris (As-Aris is the high form of the name), he gave name to his only daughter – Asera (Syrian Astarte). My spirit guide in that life was called Sat. Nowadays he is known under the name Set.
The story of his life, his path was described by me in four books:
1. Empire of Ashes
2. Empire of Ashes. Confrontation
3. Black Kingdom. Beginning
4. Black Kingdom. Exodus
The last one tells the story about the first Exodus, when after accepting Horus’ right to the throne, Sat with his solders left the shores of the Black-Earth and came to the Palestine Land. Later, his distant descendant, King Seti I, an admirer of ancient knowledge, found in Abusir the tomb of a scribe named Merperra and learned about Seth’s Exodus. Here is what I wrote about this:

Excerpt from the book «Empire of Ashes»
In one of the conversations with his faithful servant named Chii1, Seti mentions the lore once told to him by his father — of the Exodus of the Red God2 and his supporters from Egypt. They crossed the Great Green3 to the northeast, to Retjenu4. Though they were defeated, they did not forget. And many years later, their descendants returned to the land of their fathers. «The Lords of Foreign Lands», as the sons of Horus5 came to call them, arrived from the east and settled in the lower reaches of the Nile, making the glorious city of Hut-Waret6 their capital. Yet once again, they were driven from their ancestral homeland, centuries later. But they had sown their seed. The pharaoh was one of them, a worthy descendant of his great forebear, named in his honor, marked by his color7.
Drawn by the ancient tale of his bloodline, Seti seeks the knowledge that was lost. And north of Saqqara – iin lands sanctified by the presence of Osiris8 – he discovers the tomb of a certain scribe named Merperra, whose spirit’s haven preserved in eternity the lore of the Great Fathers of the Egyptian people. And that lore spoke to the pharaoh of the birth of an ancient conflict, which became the root of the afflictions suffered by the Black Land for many generations to come.
“For in forgetting the sound that follows every step we take, we condemn our descendants to live in the shadow of the eternal echo of our tread,” says Seti I.
Thus, the Red God’s unwillingness to accept the decisions of his sovereign regarding the priesthood gave rise to strife between the two foundational orders of Egyptian society: the military and the priests.
Set himself, as Merperra believed, had hoped to see Osiris stand with the army. Yet the Father of the souls of the Egyptians, contrariwise, sought to preserve the balance between Power and Faith.
For in that balance he beheld the highest justice, which ensures the order of the world and bestows truth.
The priesthood from Osiris’s inner circle, in turn, tried to accuse Set of undermining the supreme power: they spread false rumors about his desire to become First among equals9. They called him a stranger, as only those born on the Black Land can do, seeing in being an outlander the highest insult. But the army loved Set. And the power that that followed that love – a love bordering on devotion – frightened the original rulers of the North, those who wore the garb of sacred office.
According to Seti I, Osiris, following the call of his spiritual nature, tried to ensure balance between the priests and the army: since only in the existence of the opposites lies the essence of order. For the same reason, the Father of the souls of the Egyptians himself, being a military man, married a representative of the priestly elite, whose spiritual essence was his twin. However, the conflict that soon followed between Osiris’s wife Isis and Seth showed how stubborn the Red God could be in his desire to prove that he was right.
The starting point of serious disagreements was a certain event in Abydos, called the «Great Schism», when, reluctant to aggravate the conflict or perhaps not accepting Osiris’ policy of «balance», the proud Set accepts a new high appointment and leaves for the upper Nile. Osiris, deprived of his main protector’s support, was soon slain by the priesthood — those who, above all, held the Red God responsible for seeking the throne.

At the same time, according to Merperra, the murder of Osiris was not originally planned. Neither Set nor anyone else could foresee such an outcome. Although the Red God knew that the priests were going to the king of the Black Land with an unacceptable demand, he did not leave his domain. Because he wanted to open the king’s eyes to the true face of the priesthood, hoping that the final choice would be made in favor of the army.
It was this inaction that later caused Horus, the second son of Osiris, to blame Set for his father’s death. The attempt to prove the unreliability of the priesthood was regarded by the opponents of the Red God as a betrayal of the army. But the judges in their righteous aspirations forgot that justice is determined only by the heart and the heart of the Father of Egyptian souls chose his path.
Thus, The Great Schism became a fatal turning point: the sacral power of southern waters that was the source of life turned into a swampy stench for the original Northern rulers. They could not accept such an honorable position for their sworn enemy. Set on the contrary considered the new appointment nothing more than exile and driven by resentment against Osiris, he did not come at the right moment to the one he had sworn to protect.
These events, Seti I believed, not only determined the greatness of the Black Land for many millennia, but also laid the foundations for the confrontation between the two most important political forces of Egypt — the priesthood and the military. The confrontation that had made itself felt throughout the rest of the history of the country.
The followers of Set and Horus continued their struggle for power after the end of the Time of the Gods. And later, in the era following the unification of the lands by Pharaoh Meni, the Sons of Horus claimed victory. The name of the second son of Osiris became an integral part of the titles of many kings. The image of the Red God, on the contrary, had gradually acquired negative features, until the once protector of Ra finally turned into the antagonist of this story.
The servant, struck by this revelation, asks the ruler for permission to find out why the great lord of the thrones of the Two Lands Menmaatra does not wish to reveal the truth to his people. To which the tired king says:
“The people do not seek the truth, peace is what they need”10.
After this, Seti I covers his head with the traditional black wig and goes away, leaving the frozen Chii to ponder the wisdom given to him by the incarnation of the Heavenly Father.
The original story of Set was somewhat more complex and confusing than Merperra described in his brief account. But what is really interesting is that later one of the sons of King Seti 1, named Moses, repeated the Exodus. How events are connected after all. And even after millennia, we can find an echo of days gone by in the minutes that are to come…

- Men-Maat-Ra — The throne name of Pharaoh Seti I. It is translated as «Establishing is the Truth of Ra» or «Establishing is the order of Ra», or «Establishing is the justice of Ra». The Servant had in mind the word «Truth» in the name of the Pharaoh when asking the question. Seti, however, indicated the inseparability of the order and justice from the truth, as part of a single universal principle. Thus, it turned out that the name of the Pharaoh fully reflected his reign and his actions.
There is also a reference to the words of the god Seth, which he said to his grandson before his death: «I have been searching for truth all my life, and I found it in peace» (From the book «The Black Kingdom. Exodus») ↩︎
